Sheet Dye Range Morrison sheet dye ranges are for short dye runs or lighter weight yarns. Due to its smaller investment requirement, many rope dye producers consider these units for lighter weight fabrics. We include flexible flow control for various dye types, and a generous accumulator capacity to reduce waste due to set changes for dye class changeovers. In sheet dyeing, the yarn ends start from standard creels, cove through similar preparation and dyes stages as rope, but continue directly through size operations and onto a loom beam. Based on annual production requirements, this method can use less space, manpower and machinery than a rope system. |
